Re: Credit One Bank - Is this Legal?
They are reporting twice for one account?
Im sorry i am not seeing the issue here....
Looks like two separate cards, unless i am missing something.
My credit journey has completed. I am currently sitting at 800+ across the board.
I started my journey here years ago, and thanks to MyFico, it really is possible.

Re: Credit One Bank - Is this Legal?
Hi. I am having the exact same problem with Credit One, too. I disputed inaccurate information and they responded-- not by correcting the incorrect information--but moving the KD date forward. It did hurt my score. I've been contemplating my response. Maybe a letter to the AG and BBB?

Re: Credit One Bank - Is this Legal?
It's the same exact account number. The formatting due to the payment history pushed the account info to the side.
OP, I edited out your account # because it showed 12 of 16 digits.

Same here. I had a charge-off from 2008. After disputing last March, it came back as "charged off March 2011". I don't know if it really has an impact on my score or not, but it's annoying that they can't get it right.

Re: Credit One Bank - Is this Legal?
Is the debt paid and it says it was transferred. When was it transferred and where it was transferred to?

Re: Credit One Bank - Is this Legal?
Yes it was transfered but I got the place it was transfered to get deleted off my credit report I think it was LVNV
Yes they verified it and put a new date and my score dropped so I know it had to do with this

Re: Credit One Bank - Is this Legal?
OP, I totally misunderstood what you were asking. I saw "Is this legal?" and assumed that Credit One was reporting twice.
I don't see anything wrong with the updated TL. It is reporting correctly. If disputed, the status date, reported date, or even the DOLA should have updated to the month your disputed.
When you mentioned a score drop, are you looking at the service through the one you are posting? If so, ignore the score and advice since it isn't a FICO score. Though, per FICO, your score may or may not have dropped. If the TL hadn't updated in a long time (looks like 3 years), then you could have seen a drop..this is a side-effect of disputing. You'd also see a drop in FICO as the dispute clears and the late-aspects to the TL are added back into the score.
BTW, it says "ND" and not "KD". The update doesn't show any lates.

That's what happened when I disputed First Premier to change the balance from 215 to 0. They placed ND for every month after the month they sold the acct up to the dispute month.
